| strawberries and loquats |
- 4 cups quartered and seeded loquat
- 1 cup sliced strawberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 Tablespoons flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup water (plus 1 Tablespoon lemon juice)
Combine all the ingredient in a medium saucepan. Slowly bring the mixture to a boil and let simmer for 15 - 20 minutes (stir frequently). Once the filling has thickened, let it cool and pour the filling into a pre-made pie shell. Bake at 450 for 10 minutes and 350 for 30 minutes.
